If you are a Christian both testaments should be relevant to you.

But The Bible clearly says that the Old Testament/covenant has been superseded by the New Testament/covenant. The new covenant is based on the death of Christ as a sacrifice for sin.

In the following verses 'He' refers to Jesus

Heb 8:6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises. .

Heb 10:20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,
