its a bubblenest .. its where the female bettafish keeps her eggs
I've heard it means they are ready to breed.
It is simply the male Betta showing that he is in condition and ready to breed. All he is waiting for is a female in breeding condition to come a visiting so he can show her his nest.
nothing, it just means that your fish is preparing for eggs, even if there aren't any
If it's a real dense bunch of bubbles that look like foam, that's a betta nest.
the guy at PetSmart told me it means the fish wants to mate ...yep, even fish have the need :)
A male beta fish blows a lot of bubbles. so if there are a ton of bubbles at the top of the bowl or tank, your fish is most likely a boy.
No because i have had a male betta in the past and it was just him in the bowl and he was always making bubbles... I guess it just depends if your fish wants to mate he will make bubbles Hope this helps :)
i would not recommend
a betta bowl is about 12-15 inches in length and about the same in height
No, they will fight. It would stress them out.
betta bowl. it is amazing
None. The 1 gallon bowl is already too small for the betta by itself.
No! You don't have to have a plant in a betta tank.
Its ok as long as you let the water cool to room temperature before adding the water back to the bowl, or adding the betta to the water. Also, it is completely unnesseary to boil before putting in your betta's bowl.
yes.
I am no expert, but believe that betas are solitary and prefer to have a fish bowl to themselves.
