Which revelation?
REVELATION The last book in the Bible is "The Apocalypse", commonly now known as "The Book of Revelation" or casually as "Revelations". It was written by St. John.
Of or pertaining to a revelation, or, specifically, to the Revelation of St. John; containing, or of the nature of, a prophetic revelation.
Either reason or revelation can be regarded as more superior depending on your terms of reference and your definition of 'superior'.To a highly religious person, revelation is inherently superior, as it comes from God. If reason conflicts with revelation, there must necessarily be something wrong with the reasoning. To this person, reason is only a stumbling block to be overcome.Others believe that reason is superior because reason is more provable. Many religious persons believe that reason can support their religious beliefs in a way that supposed revelation never could. Others say that reason is superior because it can be used to disprove the existence of God and therefore of revelation. The problem with reason is that we are usually not very good at it, and poor reasoning can lead to poor outcomes.
