it is a test in Texas for 3rd through 12th grade.
Before it became the STAAR test, the assessment was known as the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS). TAKS was implemented in 2003 and was used to evaluate student performance in core subjects. The transition to the STAAR test occurred in 2012, introducing a more rigorous assessment format aimed at better measuring students' readiness for college and careers.

The STAAR test is given to all students in the state of Texas. The exact number of questions that you can miss depends on the test and the grade level.
eryone haas a different test no one has the same test
yes you have to pass the STAAR
The STAAR is and is not going to count. It is not going to count in the school's position, as in if the school is already exemplary, it is going to stay exemplary. The STAAR will count toward someone's final score just like the TAKS though. The rules have not changed just because a new test came out.
