Hi. The 66 Chevy impala conv is 542cm in lenght, and 202 cm wide. Best Regards Norway
Yes it came with the 425hp 396 in 66' for a couple of months
Which one would I get good as miles and would be comfortable for me nd my wife. We are ages 66 and 64?
Possibly a 66 impala.
66 Impala bolt pattern is 5X4 3/4
No, the 66 has the rectangular tail lights. 68 has round lights. I own a 66, but I prefer the 68 tail lights. google Impala images.
Convbertible tops, as a rule, have hydraulic pumps that are located up near the back of the rear seat. these pumps should have an acess plug for refilling. Bleeding for air may be required. Good Luck.
Absolutely NOT!! They are two entirely different frames and two entirely different cars. The Impala is a full size car while the Chevelle is a mid size car. You CAN use a frame from the other GM A bodies from '66 and '67 with the same body style (coupe, sedan, convertible, etc.) so a frame from a Buick Skylark, Oldsmobile Cutlass or Pontiac Tempest/Lemans will work with VERY little modification, if any. The only thing you would need to change is the motor mounts. Everything else is completely interchangeable.
not sure.. but i used to subscribe to SUPERCHEVY.. they got a site.. and will have a link to someone who can id the vin.. check em out
The Starter Relay is in the {Underhood Fuse Block #1} & is identified as "CRANK RLY". Just pull it up & replace. See page 6-66 of your "Owner's Manual" for location.....
The tail lights are interchangeable, the only difference is the chrome trim that was standard on the Caprice
I have never seen any of the Impala rear seats that fold down other than the stationwagon
