The people who make theories are called theorists. They are individuals who develop hypotheses or principles to explain a particular phenomenon or set of phenomena.
Theories are just that. Theories are unproven ideas by people to explain a certain phenomena.
The two leading theories are the Coastal Migration Theory, which suggests that the first humans arrived in the Americas by traveling along the Pacific Coast in boats, and the Clovis First Theory, which proposes that humans first arrived in the Americas via a land bridge from Asia during the last Ice Age.
Americans came during the ice age. the first people to sail there, were Vikings, around 1000.
The first people to come to the Americas in the late 1400s were the Spaniards led by Christopher Columbus.
