Enlightened beings or highly evolved beings believe that the body is a composite of the 4 great elements of earth, water, fire and air. while the mind is a separate energy that evolve to higher level of consciousness.
Descartes
No thats a stupid thing to think
Depends on what you believe. If you believe that you can have out-of-body experiences then the chances are that yes you can. But then it depends on how far you are able to separate soul and body. If you are still attached to the body then I would think not, but if you are completely separate then what is holding you back?
true
Descartes believed that the nature of the mind was completely separate from the nature of the body. This concept formed the dualism philosophy.
No, the body and mind are two separate entities, however they do go hand in hand. But because you are physically fit it does not mean you are mentally fit.
The correct answer? None. Your body doesn't "produce" mitochondria. They really are individual living entities in each cell of your body. They have their own separate DNA and reproduce themselves. Your body most certainly DOES NOT produce them... Figure out whether your teacher actually understood this. If so, congratulate him/her for a clever question. If not, tell him/her that the only correct answer is "none."
Thales of Mileuts ~585 BC was a dualist. He taught his students of the phusis (one underlying element to everything). He believed the phusis was water. He believed in the mind and the body (as well as physical matter) being separate entities.
Drink it and your body will separate them.
is the way howto separate the Soul and body separate.
No it is impossible to separate body and soul because both body and soul are the same.Just we have to realize it....
I believe the body and spirit are separate. It's one of the more selfless things to do when you donate an organ, whether it be while you're alive or dead.
