An eleven year old girl can be different from her eleven year old friends. One might really be into technology. Buy them a TV for their room if this is the case. Buy them a TV that is not connected to the ceiling or wall. Make it removable, for two cases. If you see she does not appreciate the TV or does not watch it, there is no point of it. Sell it online so you can make a quick buck. If she is addicted to it, definetly take it away. It is so bad for her eyes to be addicted to it.
Whatever you do, do NOT give her a computer for her room! If you ever want to see her pretty face again, don't give her one. She will soon be addicted to it.
To keep her intelligence up, give her a book shelf. This way she can easily go up to it and take out a book instead of searching in a library (and trust me, she most likely won't wanna do that!) If she likes toys, give her a toy box to put her stuffed animals(?) and dolls(?) in. But don't get her a tacky one that says "TOY BOX" on it, she won't like it. Lastly, decorate the room. Make sure it is something she will like at age 15, or you'll be decorating it every year! I suggest a design not too girly or deathly, but in between. Green goes well.
