This sounds confusing but perhaps the other programs you are referring to are 'broken'. If you can access the internet on Firefox, you should be able to access the internet on all internet-based programs (especially other internet browsers such as Internet Explorer or Google Chrome). Perhaps you need to reinstall (i.e. uninstall and then install again) the programs which are not working. You should also check your internet service provider to see if you actually are getting a strong enough internet signal (unless you are using an Ethernet cable).

There is a good chance that your MSN software needs to be updated or re-installed. beacuse you have to go to a computer shop!

Sure seems like it to me. After it was installed my security shut down. There are strange programs running in the background. It has been a experience. Working on uninstalling it right now.
It really should not stop working I've installed it and everything works fine!
A little more details would be nice. Who is your Internet Provider? Generally these options are done through the Modem Settings screen which is usually accessed by accessing a certain website that shows your Internet and Modem Configurations and Settings. If you dont know this or are unsure id suggest contacting your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and asking them for assistance
