The operating hours vary depending on season, day of the week, and the line, as well as what direction. However, by and large, the underground closes at around 01:00 and reopens again at 05:00.

From 2015, this will entend on certain lines, over the weekend, so that there will be a 24-hour service on Friday and Saturday.

Trains run so frequently (at least every 5 minutes) that there is no need to get a timetable unless disruptions are planned. The network does not run 24 hours a day except on special occassions, and is usually open from 5am to 1am.

London Underground in general opens at 0500 monday to Saturday and 0600 on Sunday. Stations in central London open slightly later (as trains start usually at the ends of the lines and none are 'kept' in central London with the exception of the Waterloo and City line). Trains run upto 0130 monday to Saturday and 0030 on a Sunday. Trains going from one side of the line to the other usually leave the departure station at 2330. Anything after that will usually go part way before coming back.

Commonly, around 01:00. The exact time does however vary, depending on which station one is at, what day of the week it is, what line and what direction is the last to travel.
