Then the Moon continues to move and some of the Sun is uncovered so the eclipse is partial again. Also, the total eclipse is not seen over the whole Earth, only directly under the Moon. It's estimated that there will be a total solar eclipse in Toronto on 8 April 2024. The July 22 2009 eclipse will not be visible from Georgia or anywhere else in the United States except Hawaii, which will experience a very partial eclipse (about 10%, not very spectacular).
The next lunar eclipse is set to occur on November 28th, 2012. This is a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. April 25th, 2013 is when the next one from 2012 will occur. This is a Partial Lunar Eclipse. Keep in mind that an eclipse isn't always visible from every point on Earth-- You have to be fortunate that the shadow falls upon your region at the right time of day!

In that case, a Solar Eclipse occurs. It can be a partial or total eclipse depending on the positions at the time of the eclipse. In total Solar Eclipses, the sun is completely blocked out for a short time in some parts of the world. Likewise, Earth's shadow falling on the Moon is known as a lunar eclipse.

The eclipse will not be visible in Dallas (or anywhere else in the United States, with the exception of Hawaii where a partial eclipse of about 10% will be visible).
