Because the lighting is different at all times of the day, causing different perspectives on the view of what he was trying to paint.
It depends what tools are being used, the type of object or surface to be covered and the type of paint is being used.A spray gun can cover a huge area of a single flat surface. A small object or something with fine detail requiring different colors may take an equal amount of time as the flat surface.
A day or so- oil paint takes a very long time to dry
The paint you are using should have recommendations on the can. Usually a moderately warm day, such as 50deg F or higher, and with no rain expected for at least the expected drying time of the paint.
if you have long hair you can put a bottle on your head and tie your hair on top of it and spray paint it
I painted mine. It's best to wipe them off/out first, else you'll paint the dirt too. I put painter's tape all around it and if spray painting (easiest for these), I also put a wider painting cloth around as well because the paint travels airborne. Apply 2 coats. I've used spray paint and regular wall paint. Apply first coat, let it dry for a day, then apply second coat.

One can create graffiti supplies at home using a multitude of every day items such as spray paint, ink (which can be bought at craft shops), and markers.
The guns being made of plastic, getting paint to stay is fairly tricky; but possible. First go to a local hardware store and pick up a pack of sandpaper and two-three cans of spray paint depending on which gun you have. Then sand it down until it is wearing off some of the color (base color is yellow so look for yellow on parts that were blue or gray). When it is sanded, rinse it off with a rag. Give it overnight to dry out. Get cardboard and lay it down outside, in a garage, basement, etc. Put the gun on the cardboard. (if it is a recon or any other gun with removable parts spray paint each sepretaly). Spray paint it and wait until it dries. When it dries let it sit for 30-60 minutes to ensure dryness and no chipping. Then spray paint 1-2 more times following the same method as in the last step. When you're done with your base color get a paint brush and put strokes or designs if you want. Wait for a day or two til your actually fire it. WARNINGS *put blue paint tape over the barrel and other parts that might jam the gun or bullet. *wear gloves because spray paint is hard to get off.
