Push the Time button once. This will change the Month/Day window to Alarm 1. Push the up button until the desired time zone is reached. Push the Time button twice more to return back to Month/Day display.
On mine, you press the "MODE" button until you reach the time setting function. (three times on my watch) Then you can use the "RESET" button to choose between the seconds, minutes, hours and day/month each of which you can advance with one press of the "ST/STP" button. Press mode again to get back to the standard time telling function.

To set the day of the week on a Timex 1440 watch, first, press and hold the "Mode" button until the display shows the time setting mode. Use the "Start/Stop" button to cycle through the options until you reach the day of the week setting. Once the day is displayed, use the "Reset" button to adjust it to the correct day. Finally, press the "Mode" button again to save the changes and exit the setting mode.
Took some time to work out, depress the plus button, keeping it depressed, push the minus button, the time separator should flash.Release the two buttons and then press plus or minus to get the desired time!
