Yes, as long as you have clearance for the front wheels to steer.
Assuming you are using the same 17" wheels if you want to go with a 70 series tire then get 195/70-17. If you want to go with a 60 series tire then get a 235/60-17 which are both good swaps.
The factory sizes for the 1992 Pathfinder are: 235/75-15and 31X10.5-15 (optional tire).
For example lets use 235/75r15 235 is the tread width in milimeters. 75 is the aspect ratio. The side wall is 75% of 235 milimeters high. R is for a radial tire 15 is the rim height in inches

235/45/17 OR 215/55/17
My 1990 E350 has 235 85 R 16 size tires.
You can install 235/50-17 or 215/60-17 and that is about the only sizes you should use.
275/65-16 or 235/75-16 Either of these sizes is an excellent substitute.
It depends on the model and wheel size. My '02 XLS has 235/70-16's. Check out tirerack.com and it will give you the stock tire sizes (assuming you haven't changed the wheels.)
The correct tire size is a F70x15, but in todays metric tire sizes I think the 235/70-15 is a perfect fit.
there are two factory tire sizes for that truck. a 235/70R15 was standard, while a 235/75R15 was optional. you would need to have your VIN ran to find out which one your truck was built with. there is almost an inch difference in diameter between the sizes, and can result in a little over 3% speedo error (aprox 2MPH @ 60MPH)
