If you like this kid then age shouldn't matter.But...if you don't like him you should let him down easy in a way that he would understand.Ask him if his parents are okay with him having a girlfriend and ask him if he's ready for a girlfriend.You should say something
like : I'm thirteen and you are ten I'm in eighth grade and you are in fifth.I want to date guys that are older but that doesn't mean that you are bad that is just my taste.He'd understand that you don't have feelings for him if you say that.If you do like him then you have to think about his parents.
