I'd find it a new home or give it back to who u bought it from tell em it's acting funny ask for a refund make sure u take it back asap i wouldn't try to tame it i had one that was very mean to her mate n me i couldn't clean her cage with out getting bit she kept biting my male i donated her to the pet shop i got her from being i had her over 3 months trying to give her a chance to calm down plus she had babies they needed her so once they were wong i gave her back to where i bought her i mean she even attacked her babies for no reason sounds like that hamster had a very bad personality u have to remember u don't know what an animal goes through before u by it or start taking care of it i how ever did my best with my animals i spoil em rotten my female just was mean lol iv got a female baby syrian hamster now she's great never bites she's unique she trusts us after 2 wks she's spoiled rotten she has her own cage matching bowl n wheel n house with a ladder she don't bite she let's us pet hold and hand feed her :) love her a lot i named her mimi

Not that I know of, my hamster will be in his wheel daily and exerice for long periods of time. This is normal, this is how they get their energy out. Don't worry about your hamster it will be fine. Don't force them to go in the wheel but allow it to be in the cage they can use it at their own use.
What would happen if you gave a hamster peanut butter?
