- There is obviously no way you can convince this person that you did not say something about them so it is best to walk away from them and don't lose sleep over what they think because you know the truth. If this person should hang out in the same group of friends you do keep your ears open to see if anyone in the group is spreading lies about you to this person and if so, confront that person.
