This depends on what light is blinking and what type of DSL modem you are using. If you are having problems connecting to the internet via your modem during the blinking phenomena you will want to reset your modem. This is usually done by pushing a small button on the back of your modem or sticking a pin into the small hole in the back where the button is housed within.
