What to do if you buy a used car from dealer and find out later there is no air bag and air bag sensor was purposefully disabled?

You could probably sue the dealer for putting you in harms way.

If the vehicle was sold to you with a disabled air bag restraint system it was sold in violation of the law. Contact the dealer and ask that it be repaired for free or an allowance be made in the price you paid. If they balk at this, turn them into the your local and/or state consumer protection office.

They changed the alternator and battery because both died to whatever problem this is. Long story short, get it into the dealer or a garage quickly before it up and dies on you for good. A dealer can not repo the vehicle. The dealer can howecer sue you to get the down payment money if he can prove you owe it.
