That is a difficult situation - and only you can answer that. If you have already discussed this thoroughly and you feel there will be no changes in either of your situations or minds - you have to ask yourself can you spend your life with your partner with no children - or can you live without that person to have children? ∙ 13y agoAsk him why and if he doesn't give you a good enough reason then tell him flat out that if you want children then adopt instead of having to ask him over and over again if he will have a baby with you. There a lot of kids out there that need parents so instead of bringing one in to the world, help the others that need it.

∙ 13y agoHaving children are aspects of marriage that you have to discuss BEFORE you get married. You have to sit down and talk about your future together. BOTH of you have to want the same kind of life. If you didn't discuss children before you married and now you find you have different views then one needs to compromise by abandoning their desires or you need to go your separate ways now. Of course, it may be that this matter was discussed and you thought you could change her mind. If so, that wasn't honest.
The best option may be to get divorced and find a partner who DOES want children.
