If the ball on the end of the bar has closed inside your skin you will have to get it surgically removed. There is no other way of getting it out without seriously damaging your lip.
Well it's partly closed due to the jewellery being stuck in your lip. So down you go to see your piercer and have him/her fix your problem. Don't doddle with it get down and get it fixed before you have real issues.
Its different for everyone but probably very quickly. Like, within hours. Its still pretty new so don't removing the jewelry unless you accept the risk of them healing closed.
because Air gets trapped in the hole
It would most likely close up. It is still fresh and needs to have jewelry in it. You can always buy a clear retainer to put in it in the place of your normal jewelry.
I would take the jewelry out for the game, most def.
well is it a dermal or a surface piercing? how old is it? Just be careful about it, excuse yourself to the bathroom after 10, make sure the jewelry still goes in then take it back out. or wear a retainer if you can
It's still an Industrial piercing they just chose to use some other jewellery rather than a barbell in the piercing.
Yes, and it is simple. Take out the jewelry, and then just keep caring for it as if it had jewelry in it. Keep cleaning it; it can still get infected even without jewelry. It should take it about 3-4 months to heal without jewelry in it, so be patient. also, if you want it to close completely and quickly, put slightly bigger jewellery in for a day (i.e. 1.6mm in 1.2mm piercing), which causes teeny stretches and cuts on the inside, as these heal they close the lip piercing quicker. you will need to care for it as though it were a reasonably new piercing as it is now effectively a new wound, but it will close completely within about 1 1/2-2weeks, like when you first had it done. this may hurt slightly more than just leaving it but its a helluva lot more practical than just waiting it out--->you don't dribble when you brush your teeth anymore or when you smile in the middle of drinking :)
First of all, remove the jewelry. I'm sure you've already done that. Second, take care of the piercing as if there was still jewelry in it. Just because you took out the jewelry does not mean your risk for infection is gone. Keep cleaning it. There is nothing you can do to make healing time faster, that is all up to your body. Just make sure you keep taking care of it.
If you change jewelry in a piercing that isn't healed, you have a higher risk of infection. If the initial jewelry doesnt fit right or if you need a clear retainer for work, go to your piercer and they can change it for you. Don't change it yourself because the jewery isn't sanitized. Also, you still need long jewelry because messing with it will make it swell again. Not to menton that it will hurt shoving jewelry in a fresh peircing.
Well I don't know how you did that, a ring wont fit in a monroe piercing. I think you have your piercing description screwed up try again.
She can still keep her navel piercing in.
