Look at the listing for the item you purchased. There's an option to ask the seller a question. You can politely ask them if they'll leave feedback. And if they don't leave feedback, then you'll just have to live with it.

Why did eBay eliminate negative feedback for sellers?

They took away the ability for a seller to leave negative feedback and replaced it with a case department for sellers that allows them to give buyers who don't pay a strike against them, and sellers are allowed to specify if they don't want buyers with any strikes to bid on there items. I believe if a buyers has 2 strikes they get suspended and the third strike there eBay account gets deactivated.

Why might you be unable to send feedback on eBay?

To leave feedback, you need to be in a transaction with another eBay member (that is, you need to be either the winning buyer or the seller of an item). You can only leave feedback once for each transaction, although you can also leave a follow-up or reply by going to the Feedback Forum (which you can find by using the link at the bottom of any eBay page). If you are eligible to leave feedback (as above) but are unable to, try again another time.

What is a feedback for eBay?

If you buy or sell an item on EBay once the transaction is complete and you have sent or you have your item, then you leave a feedback comment to say how the transaction went, i.e. was the item posted quickly and well wrapped etc if you bought an item, or if you sold an item, did the buyer pay immediately etc. EBay have just recently changed their rules so that now Sellers can no longer leave any negative comments for buyers. This is to protect buyers who left honest negative comments from receiving retaliatory negative feedback from the seller.

Is eBay reliable for auto parts?

Yes, I love Ebay for getting car parts, especially if it is for a model that is no longer made, such as the Saturn. Really, your question is not if eBay is reliable; it is if sellers are reliable. The seller ratings are your friend. Stick with sellers within the United States and have a feedback score higher than 100, and at least 95% positive feedback rating.

How do you know for sure that you will receive an item when you buy something on eBay?

Does eBay rip you off?

eBay itself does not rip you off - it's the users who are selling you the item. Sometimes there are unfaithful and untruthful sellers on eBay, and they might rip you off. However, 99% of the time eBay sellers are not a rip off.

Is eCrater a trust able site?

Mostly yes, but this depends on the seller you are buying from. Ecrater is like ebay. It has many sellers. So if the feedback of the seller is good, you may buy from that seller, but if the feedback is bad, you do not want to buy from that seller.
