Pull the panel off, might cause damage to panel but is easily replaced. Unlock the yellow tab from the metal door and pull the metal rod attached to it, this will open the door but you need to replace the lock assembly to avoid it in the future.

Is this by chance one of the rear doors? If so, make sure that the child safety switch has not been switched on. It's located near the door latch. Door has to be open to see it.
