If you feel or know you played a large part in that weirdness and it is killing you explain and move on. This would be for your benefit though and not the other person. They may or may not be fine unless you know otherwise.

You can ignore it...most sites allow you to see who viewed you so they know you are there and have seen you too. If they would just as well leave things as they were just keep perusing (perusing....not pursuing).

Of course this is if the little weird ending had to do with immaturity, incapability, or just bad timing. If it was something more horrible than weird talk to a close friend and possibly the authorities.
