I have been with my boyfriend for 7 years and he has been wanting me to move in with him. I said ok but my only condition was that we can engage because that would mean that he was serious about our relationship and that we were moving a step farther and that we are not just playing house. Plus it would make me feel better about moving out since my parents are old fashion. He agreed to my condition but now after asking his friends he has changed his mind. He basically told me that people he asked told him that the condition was stupid and what does it matter if I get it now or after. He still wants me to move in with him without that ring and if I couldn't agree to that than he didn't think our relationship would last. What should I do?
