You can try a can of "Trans-X" or other transmission conditioner, but what you're describing sounds more like an internal transmission valve body problem.
the first is a beginning, while the second is a continuation. they're both written to the same person.
what is the difference between first and second class proteins
On a hit and run play, runners on first and second, the batter hits a line drive to the second baseman, he makes the catch for the first out tags the first base runner for the second out and steps on second for the third out.
The first dynasty of China was the Xia dynasty, and the second dynasty was the Shang dynasty.
Your mother's first cousin is YOUR first cousin, once removed. The child of your mother's first cousin is YOUR second cousin.
If you can feel the gear change from second to first when stopping you may need transmission fluids. The transmission could be slipping or going out also. Take the vehicle to a mechanic so that they can see what the problem is.
A slipping transmission on a 2002 Mitsubishi can be caused by low fluid levels. Check the fluid should be the first step in troubleshooting the issue.
check the transmission fluid first
you need a new transmission
Check Ignition switch. Does your speedo or tach work? If not it's the ignition switch. The transmission needs 12volts to operate and if the ignition switch is not working right you will not have first gear or overdrive, the suburban will try to take off in second and seems like your tranny is slipping!
I'd make sure the bracket connecting the transmission and shifter isn't loose first. My 2000 is notorious for this.
If no forward or slipping forward suspect problem in the forward clutch and circuit. Reverse does not use the same applied components
An automatic transmission might be slow shifting from first to second because of low transmission fluid. You might also have damaged the gears in the transmission at the area between first and second.
Could be either, check the fluid first.
we have a 2000 astro van that has been slipping, wants to die, and the repair for it is a new torq converter on the transmission, actually a rebuild on the transmission because of the torq converter. rather expensive repair.
The first thing I would do is change the transmission filter and fluid and have the transmission flushed. This is the cheapest thing you can do to remedy the problem, and it should be done every few years. I hope this helps you. Mark
IF the transmission is slipping when it shifts, I would say it's too late for changing the fluid. I have been in touch with many people who have had these trannies go out. I've had two that first starting slipping when they shifted from second to third gear.I'm in the process of taking one apart to see if I can learn what is causing it to fail. I wouldn't spend very much on an overhaul as they aren't worth it.
