When feeding raw meat to your pet you just can't leave it out for more then 5-8 (double check) hours and no more then 2-3 when it is really hot. Defrost by taking a portion and putting it in fridge or on counter. We give our dogs a portion in the morning then sit their dinner in a plastic container on the counter for about 9 hours. Nothing but good results.

A bit of caution here; I would be very careful if you decide to give your pets raw food. Please don't just start giving your pet raw food all at once. You should start slow and introduce it a little at a time. Starting with chicken meat with little bone in is the best way to start a raw diet, and adding a few meaty bones, organs over the course of a few weeks, and eventually adding new animal meats such as Turkey or Beef is ideal and prevents any upset stomachs.
