What to say when someone doesn't believe you?

Ok well first of all if it's you best friend and they don't believe you than they're not a true friend (trust me I know this it's happened to me ALOT of times) and if they don't believe you for example what happened to me: she called me a liar because she "thinks" I didn't pay her back but I atcually did. then thats there problem, you know the truth and thats all that matters. You don't have to spend hours arguing about who's lying and who's telling the truth. As long as you believe in yourself than your best friend doesn't se that, then thats not a true friend. (it took me years to find out who's my true friend and who just hangs out with me so they're not alone).

The same way you would tell someone who does believe in it. Your feelings are what they are, they are not conditional on what his feelings are, as love doesn't require reciprocation or confirmation to exist. So you tell your peace and see what happens.

There's too many possible variables here to answer accurately. The reasons for an absence of trust in a relationship are as varied as the relationships themselves. We are the sum total of our experiences. Your partner may have been lied to in the pastand filters current declarations through an understandable prism. You may have been less than completely forthright at some point as well. Time settles these things. Whatever you've said may prove to be true or false down the road.
