No. Male Bettas will not tolerate another Betta in its vicinity.
2 male Bettas can not be kept together. Crowntails are the same species (Betta splendens) the only difference is in the tail shape.
Male Bettas can not be kept with any other members of the Betta family. They can be kept with other species quite safely but will not tollerate another Betta (male or female) in their vicinity. Female Bettas can be kept together OK.
yes but there has to be two females and one male. two males can not live together and one female and a male cant live together because all the male want is to get with them.also if u have a filter the eggs if they mate will not survive. hope this helped.
From a female Betta. Then the male Betta fertilizes them when they breed together.
No you can't. goldfish are coldwater species while bettas are tropical fish.
You can not keep Betta splendens males together without them trying to kill one another. You can only keep a male and female Betta s. together while they are courting and spawning. Afterwards he will kill her if she is not removed. You can keep male or female Bettas with most other species of fish with no problems.
Welll...yeah, in a General Sense, the Betta is Calm. However, two male Bettas together are the Antithesis of Calm. Two female bettas together will pretty much ignore one another. One male and one female betta will either Fight or F***...uhm, lay eggs, that is. As a COMMUNITY FISH, the Betta will generally not attack fish of other species....it is not a fish built for Speed and Chasing, as it were....in that sense, it is indeed Graceful and Calm. In my experience, it is more likely that a long-finned male Betta will be Pestered by the other species (ex: Tiger Barbs) than it is to Pester its (non-Betta) tankmates. You can NOT keep female and male bettas together! Male bettas can get very aggressive and will fight to the death. Make sure to separate your bettas.
Yes.
A Male Betta is only aggressive towards another Betta. They will not fight any other species.
No you cannot, only if you are breeding them and the female has eggs. Otherwise the male will eventually kill the female. 2 females can live together.
