Yes, the appropriate volume developer must be mixed with any Matrix color.
Redken Color Gels developer is formulated specifically for Gels, but using any developer will still work.
Can i use Redkin Color Gels developer instead of Shades EQ developer for my shades glosss application, I don't have the shades developer but I do have the Gel developer Thanks Carol
Which developer you use will depend on the color you want to achieve. A 20 developer will give you a darker color than a 30 or 40 developer.
Cream developer alone will not lighten your black hair. You will need to use a bleach or lightener with the cream developer to lighten it.
nothing, there is no substitute
I personally think they are both very good for different reasons....depending on your clients desire for warmth in their finished color choice.... geographically you will find that some women like cooler results..(Wella) and some warmer (Goldwell)...I have worked with both for many years and for grey coverage..I have not found anything else to compare to Wella......for lovely shine and great condition after the color service..make sure you use performance plus....Goldwell is a lovely line for richness and reds.....I enjoy them both...
20 or 30 Volume developer is recommended for blonding.
you need a 10 or 20 developer. Nothing higher. Since your going from light to dark you dont need to use a strong developer to lift color out.
Use equal parts of color and developer. For 2 ounces of color, mix 2 ounces of developer unless otherwise stated in the manufacturer's directions.
I can't wait to get this roll of film into the developer. This property will be sold to the developer with the highest bid.
