The Gunpowder Plot was a (failed) plot to kill the King and members of parliament by blowing up The Houses of Parliament in London.
The River Plot is the best one to pick. It has more space then the Town Plot, but it is just as fertile. The Seaside Plot has the most land but it is very bad for growing crops. And the plot is far away from the town.
There was also a gunpowder mills at Waltham Abbey in Essex in the UK. Part of the new Ballincollig Town Centre development is called Waltham Abbey in recognition of this.
The town where "Pride and Prejudice" takes place is called Meryton.

The setting took place in a small coastal town.
"In It's Raining Cupcakes," the setting takes place primarily in a small town called Willow Creek where Isabel, the main character, lives. The town is known for its annual baking contest, which sets the stage for the story's plot to unfold.
It takes place in the fictional town of Derry, Maine. This is the same town where almost all of King's books take place.
Gettysburg is the town in Pennsylvania where the battle took place.
