Im sure it did lol!
It snows in the winter time in RI.
While the annual amount varies considerably every year, as well as throughout the state , the average Snow fall near the south coast of Rhode Island is 25-30 inches, 35 or so in Providence, and 50-60 in the North and Northwest parts of the state where there is higher elevation and less marine influence.Usually the first snowfall is in late November early December.
No one will know until Christmas day; however, watching the weather forecast as it gets closer and closer to December 25 will give a better idea of weather it will snow or not.
There would not be much snow and maybe only a little rain.
The weather in the Rhode Island Colony was pretty mush the same as weather in the State of Rhode Island today. Warm but not opressive summers, often with sea breezes, sufficient rain, sometimes thunder, sometimes fog. Snow storms and occasional blizzards in winter, cold but also some warm days.
Most of Alaska gets much more snow than most of Antarctica.
