The mission Santa Barbara is one of the 21 missions founded by Franciscan friars between San Diego and the San Francisco Bay Area. Today, it sits on a hill above the city of Santa Barbara and has great views of the town and the coast. It is unique among the missions for having two bell towers. Mission Santa Ines was founded in 1804 near the town of Solvang, California. The mission is trying to regain some of its original glory, but the agricultural products list a success in growing grains in particular and garden produce, but not fruits.
