Hard to say. There were a few transmissions that GM used in the C/K 1500 in the 88-93 range. The only way to tell for sure is by the components on the inside. The cases on the various transmissions were the same, and itβs possible the stamp on the side wonβt necessarily represent whatβs inside if the unit has been rebuilt, which is likely given the age of them.

Yes if they both use the same transmission. GM installs the same transmission in many different models. For instance the GMC & Chevrolet pickup have the exact same transmission if they are equipped with the same engine.
