Mopar ATF+4
Remove transmission oil pan for access to filter. Replace pan gasket, fluid and filter
It uses Mopar ATF+4
When changing fluids in a car, it is important to know the fluid capacity of the car. A 1999 Pontiac Grand AM holds about 5 quarts of transmission fluid.
ATF+4 is the correct fluid for 99' grand voyager. Many Chrysler transmissions are NOT compatible with standard fluid! ATF+4 is usually the best one to use with automatic transmissions before 2001, ATF+5 after. My '99 Plymouth Grand Voyager's owner's manual calls for ATF+3. Whether ATF+4 covers ATF+3, I couldn't say, so check the label :-).

No! Only use Mopar ATF+4
On a 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis : The automatic transmission fluid level dipstick is in the engine compartment , near the firewall , towards the passenger side of the engine
Same place you check it. Remove the transmission dipstick, and place a funnel there and pore in the new fluids
Mopar ATF+4
I have a 1999 Potiac Grand Am SE, and I cannot find the transmission dip stick to check the transmission fluid.
