how do i get the air out of my radiator 1987 rx7
Yes, there is a transmission in a 1990 Mazda RX7 convertible.
if this happens when you first start the car it is normal. It is just the cars way of warming up the engine.
not really sure could be fly wheel or counter balancer out of alignment (broken keyway)
Of course you can. Anything can be done with any type of trim as long as you have the right parts and elbow grease to put the parts in.

The starter is on the left side of the transmission. The starter grounds though itsself.

It is rear wheel drive. You can tell from the drive shaft extending to the rear axle from the transmission.
My 1987 RX7 GXL automatic is getting its' THIRD Neutral Safety Switch, also called the Inhibitor Switch. The switch allows the starter circuit to start the car if the gear selector is in P or N. If the selector is in any other gear the circuit will not open and the car will not start. Sometimes the switch can be "adjusted". Most of the time it is replaced for about $435 part and labor.
as long as they are both non-turbo or both turbo.
Depends, which engine is in the 85, 13b or 12a?
