It depends on what your needs are on a daily basis. If you travel often for instance, it may make sense to have a travel app, mapping app (ex: Google Maps), airline app, restaurant reservation app (ex: OpenTable), note/scheduler app, and so on. You can also place certain apps in different folders on your home screen to cover your different needs (ex: social media folder, organization folder, travel folder, etc.). The great thing about apps is that there is likely an app to cover a need for you out there, so I encourage you to search in both the Google Play store and Amazon Appstore.
