Christianity was the main religion focused by the Huck Finn/Tom Sawyer genre. There were probably pagans (animal and nature worship) in the Native American tribes surrounding the areas at that time, though some Native Americans became Christians. I don't recall any Jews or Muslims in the books. Some of the black slaves might have had a voodoo based faith though they would keep it very quiet fearing their Christian masters might harm them or separate them from their families through selling or death.
