I believe that the book of Daniel in the Old Testament and Revelation in the NT are one in the same. The book of Daniel gives clues as to who is the beast in Revelation. The book of Daniel provides us with an insight into who the 4 beast of old were and the little Beast (Horn) who arose from the last beast which has ruled the earth to this day, although it's power has been substantially taken away in our time. But this Beast makes a huge return in Revelation. Ps.40:6 "Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required." Heb.10:5-6 "Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure." Ps 68:18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them. Eph.4:8, which says: "Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men." Paul changed the words and meaning of the psalm from "received gifts" to "gave gifts". Isa 28:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Rom.9:33 as: "As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.". Heb 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. Jer.31:32, which says: "Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD." Mt.27:9 "Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, "And they took the thirty pieces of silver, and the value of Him who was priced, whom they of the children of Israel priced." Zech.11:12-13 "So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prized at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD." 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world. Ps.78:2-3 which says: "I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old: Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us
The Jewish people, for one. A couple of things should be pointed out. One is that for Jews, there is only one "testament." The other thing is that for Jews, the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) is accompanied by the Oral Torah and cannot be understood without it.
Roman Catholic AnswerThere is only a Bible, the Bible used by the Catholic Church is the entire New Testament and the entire Old Testament. The only thing that makes it a "Catholic" Bible is the guarantee in the front of it that it conforms to the Bible as accepted by the Church since the fourth century. And, no, nowhere in the Bible does it say anything about sprinkling for baptism.
Faith is a confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing. Bible is the sacred book of Christianity, a collection of ancient writings including the books of both the Old Testament and the New Testament.
The Hebrew Bible or Tanakh (×ª× ×´×š), which Christians refer to as "The Old Testament" is a set of laws intended for the Jewish religion. The first section of the Hebrew Bible is called the Torah (תורה), which contains all 613 laws.
The Bible said both old testament and new testament........old testament means what happened in the world is before birth of Jesus and New testament said after birth of Jesus what happened in the world..........it said that about the sinces.......it said that we should not spoil our life by sinces.....it said be a good man and do anything as well....... dont denigrate others.............
None, they are one and the same thing. Unless you are referring to the protestant Bible as the "Holy Bible", then this is a misnomer as the protestant Bible has violated the command of Revelation 22:18 by removing seven books from the Old Testament used by Our Blessed Lord.
one thing you can do is go to genesis and find noah and the arc it is between chapters 5-17
The Bible is like any other book with punctuations meaning the same thing.
The chapter of Judas is in the new testament, its all the way to the end right next to the Apocalypse.
None. Devils and/or Satan are only Theological invention.Given that this question is in the categories of "the Bible", "New Testament" and "Old Testament", there is only one answer to this question.Yes, the devil and demons do exist. The Bible categorically outlines the existence and active participation of the devil and demons in the life of humans, trying to divert them from the truth of who God is.
Roman Catholic AnswerNo difference, Catholic and Christian is the same thing. I imagine that you are asking the difference between a Catholic/Christian Bible and a protestant Bible, which protestants may refer to as a Christian Bible. Protestants have removed a number of books from the Old Testament as they were uncomfortable with not believing things that the Bible said, so they changed the Bible.
There is no such thing as a Hebrew New Testament, unless you are talking about the Christian New Testament translated into Hebrew for Israeli Christians to read. If that's the case, it is no different than any other language version of the New Testament.
