Red and yellow.
we all know that red is a primary color and orange is a secondary color to get a secondary color you must mix two primary colors there are three primary colors red, yellow and blue. so,to get orange you must mix red and yellow, only then will you get the secondary color which is orange.
If you mix Black and Orange you should get brown and if that fails try green and red
a complementary color (green, purple, orange)
You get one of the secondary colors: purple, orange or green. For example: Red + Yellow = Orange Yellow + Blue = Green Blue + Red = Purple
Probably Orange and Black. But it might turn out to be a darker Orange so just keep adding more Orange, then more Black... etc.

Equal parts of the two colors make orange. If you mix 2 reds and one yellow you end up with a reddish orange color. You can mix the two colors in other ratios to make other hues of orange.

a complementary color (green, purple, orange)
Two primary colors (red, yellow, blue) when mixed will create a secondary color, (purple, orange or green).
You get one of the secondary colors: purple, orange or green. For example: Red + Yellow = Orange Yellow + Blue = Green Blue + Red = Purple
You can't mix colours to make the primary colours which are Red, Blue and Yellow. You can make purple by red and blue, orange by red and yellow, green by blue and yellow or brown by red, blue and purple.
Red, green and blue are the Primary colors. They mix to make the Secondary colors, like purple (from blue and red) or orange (from red and yellow). Colors that are mixed from two secondary colors are called complementary colors. To get green you would have to mix blue and yellow, which are both primary colors; so green is a secondary color.
Mixing orange and blue together makes brown. This is because they are complementary colors. The two are opposite each other on the color scheme.
