The two knees.
the leg"The leg" is a body part. The hip joint is the strongest one in the body.
Specifically ellipsoidal joints are joints in the body which by their shape and ligaments allow only flexion, extension, abduction, and adduction.Rotation is impossible. The wristis an example of this type of joint.
Orthopedics is primarily concerned with the muscular and skeletal system of children. It also includes treatment of joints, ligaments and tendons associated with these parts.
Ligaments
Ligaments and Muscle Tone provide stability to a joint. Ligaments prevent extreme movements that can cause damage. Muscle Tone makes sure the body is in proper alignment and provide better joint control
There are many ligaments in the body. All are necessary. They connect bones to bones. Without them, joints would not function. If you mean Cruciate Ligament, there are several. They form a cross or X, hence the name. They stabilize the knee, the neck at the dens, fingers and foot.
The cruciate ligament is found in your knee.
Ligaments are located at most of the joints. They keep the joints together.
ligaments and tendons
The Skeletal System includes ligamens and joints.
Ligaments.
If you mean ligaments, they are the tissues in the body that hold the joints together.
A ligament is a band of tissue that connects bones and hold various organs in place. Ligaments are found all over the human body. There are three types of ligaments. Peritoneal ligaments, fetal remnant ligaments, and articular ligaments. The peritoneal ligaments is made up of folds of peritoneum. Fetal remnant ligaments are ligaments that are found in very young children. The articular ligaments are ligaments that are found in the joints and connecting bones. Ligaments are slightly elastic; when under tension, they gradually lengthen. This is one reason why dislocated joints must be set as quickly as possible: if the ligaments lengthen too much, then the joint will be weakened, becoming prone to future dislocations. Athletes, gymnasts, dancers, and martial artists perform stretching exercises to lengthen their ligaments, making their joints more supple. The term double-jointed refers to people who have more elastic ligaments, allowing their joints to stretch and contort further. The medical term for describing such double-jointed persons is hyperlaxity and double-jointed is a synonym of hyperlax.
ligaments are connective tissues that hold one bone to another in the joint. from your elbow to your leg, anything in your body that is connected to your bone by a joint is a ligamentteligaments are located where there are joints in the body, ligaments reduce friction between the bones, making it easier for our joints to move. you can also get different types of ligament e.g blue, white fibro, etc :P
Ligaments are soft fibrous tissue which connect bone to bone. Their primary functions in the body are to determine a joint's range of motion and to protect joints and bones.

Bones that are joined together are joints. There are two kinds of joints. These are the ball and socket joint, and they filament joint, where different bits of cartilage join two or more bones together. Should these break, you won't be able to move this bone.
