Q and Z are missing from a phone dial, only rotary phones and push-button phones older than 15 years.
As of the 1990s, all 26 letters appear on a phone.
On older telephone dials, there was no Q or Z. On more recent ones, Q was added to the 7 and Z was added to the 9.
