Prior to the French Revolution he was the son of a Noble in Italy and played no important role in France. He joined the French Army in the very early stages of the Revolution and his fame began from there.

There are many third world countries that are in the early stages of industry and technology. Some of these countries include Angola, Yeen, Hati, Togo, as well as Mali.
Very little in the early stages. He was more interested in the dream of independence for Corsica then he was in the French Revolution. His first major effort in defense of the Revolution was on 5 October 1795 when he defended the Directory against a pro Royalist insurrection by turning his cannons on them and giving them a whiff of grapeshot. He killed 1,400 of them and cleared the streets of Paris of the rabble.
Jefferson was an early defender of the French Revolution. Thomas Jefferson sided with the French against the British.
The abolition of the privileges of the nobility, the abolition of monarchy were two main results of the early phase of the French Revolution.
