rat poisoning
An Auckland vet is calling for a ban on using a common rat poison in urban areas, fearing it will kill pet cats and dogs.
The Auckland Vet Mark Clasper of Remuera Vet Medical Centre is asking for one type of poison the Auckland Council are using to be banned in urban areas. This poison cholecalciferol has a very narrow margin of safety, which means that even small ingestions of this poison can result in severe clinical signs or death of a non-target animal i.e. a pet. This poison has NO antidote, Dr Clasper has been treating Jasper, a local tonkinese cat who ingested this poison and although Jasper received prompt treatment he has suffered permanent kidney damage. This poison leeches calcium from the bones of the animal, and mobilises it in the bloodstream where it calcifies in the animals internal organs.
Yes, you can fly from London to Auckland with a stop in Bangkok. Thai Airlines offers a flight from Heathrow Airport in London to Auckland that does stop in Bangkok. The Bangkok to Auckland leg has a stop in Sydney, Australia. What makes Thai Airlines unique is that, presently, it does not charge any stopover fees aside from departure taxes, and thus this is an inexpensive option for traveling to Auckland.
because trams suck
Never, ever stop asking questions . . .. unless somebody will smack you for asking them.
by putting a full stop on the end instead of a question mark like this how do you stop asking questions. or you could re-word it to say: tell me how to stop asking questions. then you are getting the info you need without asking a question
