GIs and allies wore OD (Olive Drab) jungle fatiques (rip stop material & the inside label usually said OG-Olive Green) and a steel helmet (M1 helmet). The VC wore what they could get their hands on; the NVA wore OD uniforms and OD pith helmets.
Special outfits (LRRPS, SF, SEALs, Rangers, etc.) wore cammies (camoflage uniforms).
