If you were to measure the amount of caffiene in tea leaves and coffee beans you would find more caffeine in tea but the way coffee beans are processed and ground means that more of the caffeine from coffee gets into the drink.

:Tea has a higher quantity of caffeine per weight to coffee, as in theres more caffeine in 1Kg of tea than in 1Kg of coffee but when consuming it, the coffee dissolves into your drink where you remove the tea leaves, there for you do receive more caffeine in a cup of coffee as apposed to tea.
