The printed paper would be treated as blank paper by the laser. Otherwise, preprinted forms, etc, couldn't be used - which they can!

The green part of this unit on the back portion of the fuser will open.Remember the fuser runs at an extremely high temperature. Be sure you are touching felted portions of the unit only to avoid burns. Gently push the green rear portion of the fuser unit back. Turn the printer around and look through the back. Are there visible streaks or rips in the upper fuser roller? Are there any visible bubbles in the upper fixing roller?If any of these symptoms are present you will need to replace the fuser unit of the printer.

The printer has a front feed and a rear straight through exit, this is important as the vinyl wants to curl when exiting the fuser. You just grab the hot vinyl sheet and lay it flat on a table and it will stay flat. The trick to fusing the toner solidly onto the vinyl is to create a blank 8.5x11 page in photoshop and re-run the sheet through the printer a few times after it's printed.
