What is the speed of coxial cable?

10mbs. It's known as RG58. Max length is 185 meters.

What is the difference between 3C2V and RG6 coaxial cable?

When comparing the two of cable, 3C2V has smaller diameter than RG6. RG6 cable can sometime be seen as Quad shield cable. Both these cable can be used in TV signal receiving but RG6 is the most suitable when receiving digital signal such as satellite television and DVB-T.

Which thin Ethernet cable is used for 10-base-2 ethernet 802.3 ethernet thinnet?

10 Base 2 uses RG58. Since this is in the Catagory for Xbox. you can not connect this directly to your Xbox, you must use 10BaseT or a converter to get from 10Base2 to ethernet with an RJ45 Connector.

How do you connect the coaxial cable feed to the ethernet connection on the computer?

Most current networks use UTP but you are describing a "thinwire" network. Thinwire uses coax and an Rg58 connection. UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) networks use RJ45 connectors. They look like an oversized telephone plug. You can purchase a thinwire modem for your computer if that's what you need, or you can get a hub that can act as a converter if your computer already has an RJ45 network connection.

What kind of coax cable do i use rg58 or rg59 or wat type?

The type coax you need depends on the type service you have. For satellite service, we use a higher rated coax cable (RG6) to allow for a higher frequency for channels and back feeding capability. RG59 is a lower rated cable.

What does coax mean?

To persuade or encourage.Coax a horse to drink. Try to get a horse to drink.Best used by saying "coaxed into" or, well yeah, you get the point.Like this: "Can I coax you into drinking from this cup?""The coach coaxed me into joining the team"Are you speaking of coax, or COAX, as in coaxial cable? If so, a coaxial cable is a cable with a single central conductor surrounded by an insulator, finally surrounded by a cylindrical shield of fine wire.A coax carries high frequency signals (eg radio, video) and the woven outer wire shield is usually grounded to reduce interference. Most commonly, two types of coax are used in LANs: 50 ohm RG58, for digital signalling, and 75 ohm RG59, for analog and high-speed digital signalling.

What type of coax is better for fios rg6 or rg58?

By fios, this would be the Verizon fiber-optic service? And, the cable in question is from the set top box to a monitor? Assuming that the answer is yes to both, then a video cable from the set top box should be one with a characteristic impedance of 75ohms. RG58 is a 50ohm cable, so avoid that one. For most short runs of a few feet, then RG6 or almost any other 75ohm co-ax will do the job. For long runs, in excess of 50 feet or so, then the quality of cable can become important to the signal quality received at the television, so a bit more research might be worthwhile. However, there is rarely a "right" or a "wrong" cable to be using as long as it is a 75ohm co-ax.

What is the difference between thicknet and thinnet cables?

Thicknet or 10BASE5 is able to run 500 meters. Thinnet or 10BASE2 is able to run 185 meters. Thinnet cable has a smaller diameter (it is thinner cable) and is more flexible and so easier to work with than thicknet. In the old days you would run a thicknet cable in the ceiling as your network backbone and use vampire taps to attach thinnet cables ("drop cables") that would drop down into rooms in the office where they would connect to hubs. This setup is caled a bus topology. The problem was if that if any piece wasn't properly terminated or is any one cable broke then the whole network went down and you'd have to run around trying to locate the break.
