Bachelors or Associates degree would be nice.
But you really only need to take Public Safety through out highschool.
Even if you DIDN'T you can still just have a clean record and go through basic.
To be a sherrif or High Patrol is different. (:
They need to have full licence to drive their police cars around the road.
a bachelors
be nice.
what kind of grades do you need to be a police officer
a reliable one and a serious one!
i honestly do not think so. i just think that you have to get your licence renude.Another View: Not really sure what kind of license is being referred to. In the US most (all?) states require police officers to be "certified" as meeting state mandated requirements in order to exercise their power and authority.
Police officers all go through their own type of "certification" when you go to the police academy. A bachelors degree in criminal justice is also helpful
A police officer doesn't have to ask you for anything. The officer generally asks for a driver's license and/or proof of insurance, but, by no means is that a requirement.
No
to be a police officer you need to attend a state approved police academy and be state certified in the state you live in.
In the UK Police Officers need a standard driving license and a special driving permit issued by the Chief Constable, to qualify for the permit the Officer must first attend advanced driving lessons and pass to a very high standard.
There is not really a checklist of things you need to become a police officer with or without college. You need to be able to show to any agency that you are the person they want as a police officer and you need to make yourself stand out from the crowd. There are a bunch of things you can do that will help - Volunteer with an agency is one way.
Yes you need to pass the P.T. test to be a police officer.
