Kinetic energy, and gravitational potential energy.
No. It will accelerate the diver downward only.
While he's in the air, the reaction force is air resistance and when he's in the water the reaction force is upthrust. Hope this helps.
Muscular energy - which is chemical.
he has potential energy
A 45 kg boy runs at a rate of 2.5 m/s and jumps on top of a stationary skateboard that has a mass of 4 kg. After jumping onto the board, the boy and the board travel off together. Assuming that momentum is conserved, what is the final speed of the boy and the board?
The diver at the top of a diving board has potential energy
A dive is a head first jump into the water with arms out ( in streamline position) and legs straight out behind you so you are in a perfect line. Flips and acrobatical jumps are also dives. But the 1st definition is for swimming. Diving is used to extend or explode of a diving block. Dives are also used in competitio. Thank you. :)
Yes!
This is my favorite pool game: Jump Spin or Dive- Jump in off the side of a pool or off a diving board and some one calls out either jump spin or dive and the person on the board does the dive they call out! You can change the jumps or dives to something else like, pencil, swan dive or spin or whatever you want. The caller calls the jump right after the jumper jumps off the board! I hope you really enjoy this game as much as I do!

The board stores energy as the diver jumps onto it, then returns the energy, which the diver may then use in addition to what he adds with his next jump. This will continue until he jumps away from the board, or until it breaks from attempting to store too much energy.
Tom is famous for his High Diving and Synchronised Diving.
head before feet, but normally hands before head as well
In Eclipse the jumps into the water, that Bella Cliff dives intone is unconscious and pulls her out of the water.
